ADVERTISEMENT FOR A/E REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

line.GIF (550 bytes) Pursuant to the Alabama Act No. 2001-956, the Armory Commission of Alabama is seeking qualified architectural firms to provide professional design services for the renovation and repairs at various National Guard facilities throughout the state of Alabama under open-end contracts.  The scope of work involves the design and construction administration for the sustainment, revitalization, and modernization at Alabama Army National Guard Armories and Readiness Centers, Field Maintenance Sites, Consolidated Support Maintenance Sites, and Alabama Army National Guard Training Centers.  The designs for the various projects will be completed through final design approval.  The selected firm(s) will provide a recommendation of the time-phasing of the project(s) based upon the structural findings and the estimated costs.  The selected firm will provide the construction administration services of the project(s) when funds are available for construction.  Selection and award of contract does not guarantee any minimum or maximum amount of work.  The duration of the contract will be for 12 months with an option to renew for 12 months.
